An established Chief Executive with experience in the leadership and management of housing, regeneration and public services, locally, regionally and nationally. Currently employed as Chief Executive of Plymouth’s largest Housing Association with c16,000 homes, 650 staff and an annual budget of c£88m.I have previously been the Director of Housing at Royal Greenwich Council in London and Chief Executive of Housing and Regeneration companies and charities in Leeds, Sheffield and the North East of England. I have extensive knowledge and experience of working at Board level to establish vision, values and strategy, implement organisational and cultural change to achieve service improvements and cost efficiencies and develop and deliver Performance Management Frameworks to drive improved performance.As Director of Housing for the Royal Borough of Greenwich I had responsibility for 24,500 homes, corporate Strategy Policy and Performance, Welfare Reform and the Third Sector. I also established the Council’s housing development company, had responsibility for its trading companies and enabled it to win Council of the Year 2014 and be the first to achieve the Gold Standard for Homeless services nationally.. Achievements include:• Procured the 1525 home Woolwich Estates programme and negotiated 25% affordable housing on the 14,000 home Greenwich Peninsula development • Created a nationally acclaimed Troubled Families programme. • Delivered 100% Decent Homes for Council properties in Leeds. • Transformed a failing New Deal for Communities programme to achieve ‘Excellent’ status • Designed and delivered successful housing & regeneration programmes, projects and new ways of working in London, Sheffield, Leeds and the North East of England
