Hello,I have worked 6 years in VAVE Residential circuit breakers and metering, a previous 18 years in injection molding as a Project Engineer & Process Development Expert, 7 years in powdered metal products and two years in large equipment (locomotive engine and off-road construction lift equipment) in various Engineering roles. My background includes New Product Development Concept Design through Commercialization.I started my career as a CNC programmer/setup and heat treat Technician in the Powdered Metal industry in the mid 80’s.I then shifted my career passion to injection molding in the mid ‘90s.In 2005 I assisted set up of a production facility for GE in Changzhou, China. In that project I was responsible for the product design, injection molding process, mold tool supplier development and manufacturing training. I specified all the plastic equipment (40 – 80 ton) for a turnkey operation. Additionally, I was on the Mechanical Engineering Council for General Electric.During 2014 I started an After Market Parts division for JLG. I used reverse Engineering concepts to develop a part base for JLG and competitor models. I was also a JLG Quality Auditor.A 2021 project with Eaton was the startup of a large injection molding facility in Chihuahua, Mexico. In this role I specified all the equipment (22 units) for a thermoset and thermoplastic molding facility of 40 ton through 350 ton machines, deflash and additional auxiliary equipment. I also worked with Procurement on supplier selection and Facilities to layout the equipment for the building floor plan.Currently I am a Technical Lead Engineer for Industrial Scientific. I am leading a project that will bring modernized Gas Detection Testing Equipment (MSHA and ATEX) to market from Concept Phase through Manufacturing launch.With my background in Plastic Product and Processing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement in Engineering I can lead your team to sucess in NPD.
