Following a progressive career in the Royal Corps of Signals spanning 25 years during which I reached the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1 I have worked in a range of Facilities and Project Management roles. My Facilities Management experience has been with Public Sector, Local Government and Commercial Contracts, providing both hard and soft services, working with both in house teams and external Service Partners on large multi occupancy and complex sites. I was Senior FM for the largest site in the DWP Portfolio at Norcross near Blackpool.I have strong analytical and problem solving skills able to arrive at insights and resolutions. Delivering a high quality service contributing towards a culture of excellence by developing new systems and solutions and offering ideas and practical advice on how to implement these.I have also worked with many diverse organisations including: Department of Communities & Local Government (CLG), Department of Work and Pensions. Deutsche Bank, Bombardier Belfast and Rolls Royce; providing a consistent level of service and commitment. I have experience in working with Project Managers to bring new builds and refurbishment works to a successful completion and handover to the Occupying Client. Mobilising FM contracts and providing Audit tools and documents that were accepted as model guidance for the management and interpretation of FM Contracts.
