Current- Leading life-cycle surveys of endangered or threatened salmonid species in tributaries to the Russian River using standardized scientific protocols to estimate population and advise future restoration
- Monitoring salmonids using PIT tag antennas, DIDSON sonar, and underwater video footage to estimate populations and migration timing
- Conducting research of native fish and invertebrates species in the Russian River estuary to determine effects of manual breaching of the river mouth
- Monitoring pinniped species in the Russian River Estuary to observe anthropogenic effects on the colony
- Collecting water quality samples from tributaries for post-storm contaminates analysis
- Training interns and Americorps members in proper survey protocols
