I'm meeting the challenge of bringing to life an empty shell 100,000 sf concrete tilt-up building, and reformatting it into a state of the art chip fabrication facility. FM Industries, headquartered in Fremont, is expanding its Phoenix footprint to serve major clients on the Pacific rim. The new curtainwall entry facade will welcome a 200 person staff that keep the production lines humming with 3 shifts, 24/7.This project is a natural progression growing organically out of my previous experience of helping to create a 120,000 sf, multi-building, PG&E Regional Service Center.

BART El Cerrito Del Norte: Construction underway of our design for Station upgrades which expand the Concourse, adding 2 stairs, 2 elevators, and 2 restrooms. Stairs and elevators are sheathed in glass curtainwall for light and visibility, enhancing the user experience.PG&E: In Auburn CA, we have designed a new Maintenance and Operations facility, consisting of an Office Building, Personnel and Shops building, Fleet Vehicle Maintenance building, Hazardous Materials Storage building and two Warehouses, totaling about 150,000 sf

High Density apartments and condominiums:Managed Saranap Village in Walnut Creek, in the DD Phase, comprised of 4- and 5- story condo buildings, 250 units total, podium over retail, including a restaurant and grocery, and a 6 story garage; subsequently managed a 2-building development, 270 units overall, on the Schlage Lock factory site in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood of SF

Project Manager for Downtown Gateway in Santa Clara, comprised of 44 Condos over Retail with 2 restaurants. After resolving fierce neighborhood opposition, this proposal was approved enthusiastically by the Santa Clara City Council. At the same time, served as Project Manager for Osgood Residences, 93 Condos in the Irvington Transit Oriented Development zone in Fremont. The design was kept within zoning guidelines, enabling the Planning Commission to render approval -- without going to the City Council.

Team member providing Revit CD's for Kaiser 149 bed Hospital in Redwood City, under contract for two separate tasks spaced over an 18 month period.My pro-active approach included close coordination with consultants and contractor, which helped to achieve cost savings of approx $70k.

Architect team member for a 3-bldg expansion of the campus at Contra Costa Community College, San Pablo CA. I designed in Revit, and detailed in AutoCADFor the Student Activities Building, I designed the Culinary Arts facilities consisting of '3 Seasons' 130 seat Restaurant with separate Cafe, Demonstration Kitchen, Instructional Kitchen, Instructional Bakery, and two Fast food vendor spaces, as well as the campus Bookstore.

Project Architect for Community College and K-12 educational facilities. Team member producing drawings and specs for award-winning Dougherty Valley HS campus in San Ramon, CA.Went on to perform CA for this project, resulting in an $8M savings from the $128M budget.The Campus included 11 major buildings, plus professional level performance theater, football stadium, Varsity and JV fields for soccer, baseball, and softball, and a dual pool aquatic center.
