I joined the Supervisory Board of the Foreign, Commonwealth Office as a Non-Executive Director in September 2020 and lead on Audit and Risk matters Chairing the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee. I joined Turkish Bank UK Ltd in July 2021 and a Non-Executive Director where I Chair the Board Audit and Risk Committee (SMF10 & SMF11 holder).In October 2021 I entered a contract with Sport England as a Loan Book Management Advisor which concluded in October 2023..Previously I was the Executive Director, Chief Risk Officer of FCE Bank plc (Ford Credit) a deposit taking bank with a £18.0bn balance sheet operating in 12 countries through a branch and subsidiary network providing financial services for Ford Motor Company’s customers and dealers. The bank is Authorised by the PRA and regulated by the PRA and FCA. I had elected to retire from the bank on March 31, 2020 however, the firm asked me to stay on an extra 90 days in an advisory capacity to support the Executive in its response to the COVID19 crisis.I have an excellent grounding as a risk professional and was the first Chief Risk Officer appointed within the bank. I held the position for 7.5 years with the SMF4 responsibility since the inception of the Senior Managers Regime and regular interaction with the PRA Supervisory Team. I have driven the strategic agenda for risk within the firm and acted as its executive conscience. I have a genuine breadth of experience including holding the position of Managing Director Ford Credit Britain for 7 years and Executive Director for Operations and Technology for 3 years. Holding senior positions in Risk, Commercial Activity and Operations and Technology allowed me to contribute across the whole enterprise and I have been involved in several transformation and change management programmes across the business.
