I do real-time [both push and pull] and non-real time programming. I do openGL, DirectX and GDI programming in a C or C++ environment. I know Python better than I know Perl. I do both COM and Corba. I have 30+ years of software engineering experience including 20+ years C/C++ development experience. My operating system experience includes Dos, Windows, BSD 4.2, Ultrix, VRTX, microCOS, Linux, and Sun OS. I have written both polling and interrupt driven real time software as well as event driven non-real time software. I have built the following device drivers: GPIB, IEEE 802.5, OpenGL ES/SC. I have application experience in OpenGL, DirectX, with both Shaders and Vertex Objects. I have also built graphical user interfaces for large client / server systems. I have experience with 3-tier system c-based middle-ware servers. I am experienced with all types of methodologies: OOA, OOD, OOP, Structured Analysis and Programming, Rapid Prototyping as well as Agile Scrum and incremental development; I have written code communicating with half a dozen databases; I have designed algorithms for various mathematical concepts: splines, exponentials, polynomials, linear algebra, and number theory; I am familiar with regulated software development for medical, electrical, and aerospace industries; I use a wide variety languages: assembler, C, C++, C#, templates<>, Pascal, Python, Perl, and debuggers.
