The key purpose of this role is the management and co-ordination of the business operations of a major unit with responsibility for municipal fiscal subunits and functions. This management includes budget preparation and control, human resources administration, allocation of business resources, physical plant operations, HSE, Quality Assurance, Human Resources and/or any other auxiliary enterprises.

• Overall staff management including work allocation, training and problem resolution. Evaluating performance and making recommendations for personal actions; Motivation of employees to achieve peak performance and productivity. Establishing effective working relationships with staff in order to recognise employees capabilities and support their development Recruitment in line with other management Setting SMART objectives through conducting Performance Appraisals and encouraging ownership of objectives set Encourage the training & development of the team Discipline & Grievance handling Managing Poor performance• Plan strategies within the company structure utilizing all the available amenities and creating approaches in line with industry demands & trends• Identify “Routes of growth” in order to expand and develop the business for the future, supporting the overall group objective• Maximise sales of currently held product ranges• Enquiry generation and full communication of service offering• Establish strategic level relationships with existing & new customer base• Supply chain management• In-put into stock and levels, analysis and turn cycles• Provide training and ongoing technical support to sales team• Identification of new market opportunities• Attending local & regional sales meetings• Detailed monthly written reports
