John is a 3L at Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. A lifelong student, John is passionate about learning in new disciplines and hearing people’s stories, understanding them, and helping shape them.Prior to law school, John graduated summa cum laude in English from Wheaton College (IL) where he worked as a teaching assistant and a summer research assistant while also editing and managing a campus literary journal. He has edited an academic book, won an award for assisting a professor in a research project in the digital humanities, and led a self-funded publication through the production of its first printed issue. These experiences honed John’s communication, research, editing, and writing skills, but also led him to realize that his real passion is to blend those skills with in-person interaction to make a material difference for clients. Growing up as a Montana ranch kid, John was always aware of the importance of law to people like his family; access easements, trespassers, boundary disputes, and water law were dinner-table conversations for as long as he could remember. John appreciates the real-world weight that legal issues have for individuals and families everywhere, and he wants to help them craft the stories of their success to align with their desires, needs, and goals.
