I've spent the past four and half decades working in the music and radio industries. My experience includes a number of years as a music director in Sydney radio and on the South Coast of NSW and as a music concept consultant and writer for Reader's Digest. Since childhood I have been an avid student of the history of popular music and I have been able to apply that knowledge to many areas of the music industry. I'm currently looking for further work opportunities in this field.

For nearly 25 years I have worked independently for Reader's Digest Australia (and for a time Reader's Digest Asia). My role has been to create concept ideas, compile the tracks and write booklet notes for the company's music product that overall has totalled close to 200 titles.

I have been friends with music historian Glenn A. Baker for more than 40 years. During 1992 I looked after his archives office and my association with him continues through to this very day as an occasional researcher, interview transcriber and archives assistant.

I relocated to the South Coast of NSW in 1981 and enjoyed working for a decade as both music director and DJ at the local radio station 2ST.

After acquiring valuable radio experience at 2WS as its first music director I moved on to the same position of music director at 2DAY-FM when it was established in 1980 as one of Sydney's first two commercial FM stations.

This was my entry into the radio industry when I accepted the position as the first music director at 2WS, Sydney's first commercial radio station in more than 40 years. It was based in the city's western suburbs where I had been raised.

Following my high school years my first job was in music retail. It was a perfect introduction to the music industry as I quickly became familiar with the product, the record companies that supplied the product and of course the wonderful artists that produced the music.
