Paramount Enterprises International, Inc. (PEI) is a defense logistics company headquartered in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. We specialize in the international and intermodal transportation, storage, handling and 3PL of explosives, munitions and weapons systems for various commercial, government and military customers. PEI is certified by the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and holds an ERAP number for transportation of hazardous cargo in Canada. PEI runs dedicated Class 1 HazMat ocean vessel service (both US Flag and non-US Flag) approximately every 6-8 weeks from Europe to the USA -- and back. Each Paramount vessel transports up to 1,000 metric tons (NEQ) of dangerous goods cargo on behalf of shipper-customers in the United States and Canada. Paramount vessel service is especially useful for customers moving large or complex cargo loads. PEI also offers air, rail and various other transportation modes.
