 Responsible for managing an existing account base as well as developing new accounts in and around the Brisbane market. Have consistently met and exceeded yearly budgets for the past 4 years. Have been credited for bringing on Australia’s largest (in terms of volume) export accounts. One of those accounts ranks No. 7 in the South District Region as largest by volume Managed daily activities though cold calling and regular maintenance and development calls.

 Responsible for selling transportation solutions to move heavy earth moving equipment for the mining, construction and oil/gas industries. Heavily focused on the North American to Australia trade lane as well as the North American to Middle East trade lane. Was instrumental in acquiring one of the largest suppliers/manufacturers of underground mining and drilling equipment Organized an entire charter vessel to move 5 underground drill rigs to the mine site in Indonesia. Made frequent trips to the United States as well as Middle East to strengthen existing relationships and secure new business.

 Work with overseas Global Account Manager on developing a worldwide transportation strategy for Canon. Responsible for managing and growing transportation revenues in Domestic Express, International and Ground for Canon USA. Collaborated with the Global Account Manager in Japan to successfully implement an express solution to move 2 positions per day (approximately 30 pallets) of digital still cameras and digital video cameras inbound to the United States from the Canon factory in Oita Japan. Total time from pick up at the factory to being received into inventory was 2 business days.  Finished FY08 revenue objectives at 118% to plan.

• Add support and value to a 6 person Worldwide Account Management team to help expand international export and import revenues for the U.S. Department of Defense.• Work with FedEx field sales across the United States to help them gain a better understanding of the relationship FedEx has with the Dept. of Defense [US Gov’t] as well as help them to better understand the many contracts FedEx has with the Dept. of Defense.• Developed an inbound freight program to move aircraft engines and parts from two US airbases in Iraq back to the U.S. for repair. Yearly value $7 million usd.• Was credited for securing one of the largest international small package customers going into Afghanistan. Because of this, FedEx was able to add additional flight rotations to the bases they serve thus improving transit time from 5-7 days to 3-4 days. Yearly revenues for this account were $8 million usd.• Was credited for achieving year over year international revenues for the Dept. of Defense in excess of $53 million usd (FY07 over FY08).

• Participated on a panel with other members from the transportation industry to speak to the Federal Government community on the importance of multiple award contracts as it relates to Domestic and International transportation.• Successfully grew overall territory from $2.1 million usd to over $9.8 million usd in under 18 months. • Developed Dept. of State Diplomatic Pouch & Mail business from $295,423 usd to $2.4 million usd per year.• Consistently met yearly budgetary objectives for 4 years• Through active leadership and persistence, successfully introduced and obtained “buy in” from the DHL global marketing network regarding the DHL Diplomatic Pouch concept• Have worked closely with DHL operations and security to provide security solutions to the Dept. of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs/National Passport Center. Due to this, a more secure operations plan was implemented to add better security to US passport shipments.
