Engineering Superintendent responsible for the safety management, operational engineering, readiness, and cost effective refit and maintenance of large Ro/Ro passenger ships.

Responsible for the in service support for a fleet of over 35 ro/ro passenger vessels operating on the west coast of Canada. This is delivered by a team of trained technicians providing company wide service to bridge communication/navigation, electrical/electronic propulsion and hotel services, bridge and engine controls, HVAC, elevators/escalators,ship safety, and customer service.

Providing leadership through planning, safety management and operational engineering and cost-effective maintenance of a fleet of vessels (Ro/Ro with a passenger license up to and including 900). Delivering reliable and innovative management of this asset base across mainly northern gulf islands, and north routes.Financial management of $25M+

Providing consulting services to industrial marine operations regarding propulsion upgrades, surveys, fleet engineering in service support, project management and decision proposals. Work performed for independent commercial and government operators for planned/predictive maintenance practise, propulsion upgrades, mid-life modernizations, class delegation, new construction, Risk and Safety assessments, specification writing, and owner's representative.

Engineering Supervisor was responsible for the maintenance and refit of the Canadian Coast Guard Ships in Pacific Region and NWT. This ranged from large ice breakers to inflatables. Head of a team consisting of Chief Engineers, project managers, maintenance facility staff and admin support.
