John currently serves as Vice President of Business Sales at Verizon Business. In this role, John is responsible for leading the mid-market wireless business team of 1,000 sales professionals for the Eastern region of the United States, serving small and midsize businesses with full-service connectivity and security solutions such as 5G, Business Internet, and One Talk. With over 15 years of sales and technical leadership, John has held a variety of leadership positions across Verizon Business, consistently delivering results and developing high-performance sales organizations for multiple customer segments including channel, small business, enterprise, and government sectors. In his last role as Executive Director of Channel Sales, John led the overall strategy and execution for SMB Channel programs, enhancing the partner experience, growing revenue and delivering concrete governance and compliance. Before that, John served as Executive Director of the Retail to Business and Indirect to Business Sales teams as well as the Data Security team for the South, delivering new customer acquisition and revenue growth.John began his career as a telesales representative in Woburn, MA before transitioning to the B2B channel, where he held positions in both the Commercial and Government Teams. Originally from Peabody, MA, John and his family now reside in the greater Atlanta area. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Westfield University. He also serves on the board of North Georgia Habitat for Humanity.
