John Cordes is an accomplished energy professional with project management and construction management expertise, business development and acquisition experience in the energy business with a history of successfully leading and closing of large scale and profitable energy investments with project enterprise value of over US $15 Billion. His extensive global expertise includes developing and investing in energy companies and projects in Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, El Salvador, Mexico, Canada and the United States. John was a Managing Director and VP Development for several power companies and his experience in the energy business includes a lead role in management of development teams, project management, project and company financial evaluations, acquiring power and electric distribution companies, structuring of transactions, due diligence, contract negotiation, bidding for PPA’s, interconnection, permitting, strategic planning, project reporting, board presentations, development and project management of project pipelines, and construction management. Mr. Cordes has worked for major power companies including Brightnight Power, Penn. Power and Light, TransAlta, and Hydra-Co. where he was Vice President Development, Managing Director Acquisition and Development and Director of Power Development. Significant experience in solar, battery storage, hydroelectric, biomass, natural gas, coal and electric distribution. Board Member and Management Committee Member for various partnerships.Also, for 9 years worked as an independent consultant in the power sector under the name of GOENERGY Storage, LLC and CGS (Corporate Growth Solutions, LLC). Recent development work includes siting and development of several large scale Solar/Bess projects in Arizona; one 300Mw's now in construction. Presently, a full time employee for GoEnergy Storage.
