In the current role, the most recent projects that Mr. Cordes had lead roles in development in Arizona are: 300 Mw Box Canyon Solar/Bess project in Pinal County, AZ which is going into construction in February of 2024. Also, lead for the Desert Sands 300MW Bess project siting on ASLD land in Maricopa County, AZ, now starting permitting phase. Also helped siting and development for four other projects in development including Raceway Solar (50 Mw), Three Sisters (300Mw Bess/solar), Eagle Eye (250 Mw) and Orchard (300Mw).

Mr. Cordes has been an Arizona resident for the past 17 years and worked as a Consultant in Solar/BESS and hydroelectric power development for 9 years. During this period worked for several large power companies including Heliogen, Greenleaf Power, Pivitol Battery, SEMPRA, LEAF CLEAN Energy, South West Power Group (SWPG), FIRST Solar, ATCO, CANDELA, NEXTERA, Cogentrix and others. Completed solar and hydroelectric siting work as lead consultant for a Candian company in preparation of strategy and origination of multiple solar sites in North America and hydroelectric sites international. Also, assisted client in bidding for PPA's in the CENACE process in Mexico, and RFP processes for gas peaking and solar projects in NM and AZ. Project manager for siting and development of 600 Mw gas peaking project in AZ.

Mr. Cordes has managed and led teams of professionals involved in the location, permitting, development, construction and acquisition of power facilities and electric distribution companies in Arizona, and throughout the US, Canada, South America (Chile, Peru, Argentina, Columbia, Bolivia, Brazil, Panama, Europe, and Australia. Mr. Cordes has worked for major power companies including Penn. Power and Light, TransAlta, and LS Power where he was Vice President Development, (Managing) Director Acquisition and Development and Director of Power Development in the SW, respectively. Responsible for origination, development, permitting, and closing and/or acquisition of energy investments with capital value over US $15.0 Billion.Experience in successful completion of projects in various technologies including hydroelectric, solar, natural gas, biomass, coal and electric distribution. Experience in Latin America and Europe. Board Member and Management Committee Member for various partnerships. Mr. Cordes was Project Director of Development for LS Power's Arlington Valley Solar 1, 2 and 3 projects in AZ, with AVSE2 and AVSE3 now in operation.
