SUMMARY I have multiple years of experience in Polymer research and development. Most recently I was employed at the Dow Chemical company in Collegeville, PA. Since 2015 I have been in the Dow Plastics Additives Group as a TS&D scientist. In the Dow DPA group, I lead numerous projects and was the TS&D direct contact with many of Dow’s DPA largest North America customers. I am very familiar with PVC formulations and the applications of acrylic impact modifiers (AIMS), processing aids (PA) and acrylic cap stock used in various B&C applications.Along with my recent experiences at Dow, I have a diverse background and experience with other polymer industries. I have been in the medical device industry as engineer working on new materials selection and replacement. I have also been employed at corporate research centers working on fundamental research projects to customers specific projects for product development. With my diverse background I have been in involved with numerous polymer chemistries and processing techniques. Extrusion, injection molding and fiber spinning are processes I am familiar with. I have been recognized over my career with my ability to interact with customers or other internal company groups. I have a good ability to define the problem and have been a good liaison between my technical group and the customer. I have then lead projects or aided with input to help solve the technical issues.I love the team environment and have had success throughout my career.
