I am a time-served Electrical technician with over 40 years experience in the trade. 18 years ago, I gained qualifications as an instrument technician and have since been working as a multi skilled electrical and instrument technician with proven experience of both maintenance and installation. I have also gained experience working offshore as an electrical/instrument installation and commissioning technician.I have a thirst for knowledge and an enquiring mind. I readily adapt to new technologies and enjoy a challenge. Tenacious by nature, I stick with the job until an appropriate solution is identified and in place, i also believe that safety and the environment has to be a priority in the work place.I am highly motivated, capable of working alone or as part of a team. A strong team player; reliable and dependable, always willing to help out and lend a hand.I have recently been working offshore for WGPSN through Offshore marine services on CNRi installations providing installation, commissioning, project surveys and support for construction, vendor and onshore based engineers.I worked for WGPSN on the North Everest as part of the core crew maintenance department.I recently been working as an Instrument commissioning and completions technician for Qedi on a number of projects for Conoco Philips (Judy/Jasmine) and BP (Andrew and Clair Ridge projects) Repsol Sinopec (Mar/Montrose). I am now working for Bilfinger Industrial Automation Services as an E&I maintenance and installation support technician.
