I am a passionate & results-driven Educator & Athletic Coach with 20+ years of diverse leadership experience as a Teacher, Athletic Coach & Men’s/Young Adult’s Pastor within a variety of cross-cultural Christian environments. In addition to planning/instructing innovative, standards-based programs, I also provide after-school tutoring sessions to students enrolled in Spanish, which significantly helped students in raising their grades. I have a history as a professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers & Golden State Warriors, and am well-versed in player recruitment, as well as organizing and coaching practice/playing sessions.Prior to my most recent experience, I spent 15 years as a Men’s & Young Adult Pastor for Jubilee Christian Center & Evangel Christian Fellowship. At Jubilee, I led 300+ male members within the largest non-denominational church in San Jose, CA and revitalized the role of the Christian man in the church, the family and within the community during a time where overall male church attendance was decreasing. At Evangel I conceptualized and launched the church’s 1st Young Adult & College Ministry. I established Christian Clubs on 5 college campuses (4 still active), as well as 1 overseas.I earned a BA in History from UC Berkeley & took New & Old Testament Survey Coursework at San Jose Bible College.
