Mariner A Platform Hook Up, Statoil/ EquinorE&I Supervisor- October 2017- PresentMy role within this platform hook up involves the organising & planning of work scopes, liaising with E&I superintendent & REP regarding electrical isolations and connection of various Atex plant equipment, write up`s of daily & quantitative data updates & system completion reports along with electrical team time sheets. I am tasked with supervising a 10+ electrical team to carry out hooking up various sections of platform production and drilling to CCR.This involves the install of HV/ LV cables to splicing zones, drilling drag chain, transformers and motors. Setting up work sites for HV vendors to cable joint, terminate & pressure test and for my electrical team to carry out terminating, testing & Inspection of all equipment & systems ready for handover to commissioning.Upon completion of Atex equipment install I had to assign Atex tags to each individual EX piece of equipment & countersign all Atex inspections sheets. Once complete I then signed off complete systems to be handed over to commissioning.

Glanding and terminating of Isolators, motors, valves, lighting, marshalling panels and I.S junction boxes.Upon install all testing & Atex inspection sheets required to be completed.

The duties of my role is the day to day running of all electrical & instrument work scopes areWriting daily reports, daily activity sheet & time sheets.Filling in the overall work pack planning programme i.e. job card percentages & hours used.Raise any SQ`s to the beach that may arise from the work packsWalking the jobs and conducting risk assessments & creating permits in ISSOW.Organising the work force into teams and showing them the jobs to be undertaken.Sort any issues safety wise or technical wise the work force may come across.Sign off all job certs under the G.O.CMaking sure work is carried out safely and in accordance with company policy and values.

I am currently a working foreman and have my Personnel isolation authority and I am working toward my full Isolating authority. I am also involved with planning and permit writing of future work scopes. Installation of new electrical equipment including glanding and terminating.Installation of all and any steel work required i.e. Unistrut, cable tray, cable rack,pre-commissioning and testing including: point to point, continuity, insulation resistance and cold loop checking of all new instrumentation.
