John is the Chair of Ategenos Capital and brings over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry to the role. He spent 30 years at Brinker Capital before starting a new venture with Spouting Rock Asset Management, serving as Chairman. John has led distribution efforts in the RIA and institutional space and is now consulting institutions and asset management firms.In his time at Brinker Capital, John had many roles and served on multiple committees, most recently as the Interested Trustee to the Destinations mutual fund family. He served in a variety of capacities at Brinker, including President, Chief Compliance Officer, and National Sales Director. Additionally, John has served on the Money Management Institute (MMI) board and formerly sat on MMI’s Executive Committee. He is the 2011 recipient of MMI’s Pioneer Award. Additionally, John served as an independent trustee of the Pacer ETF Trust and was Chair and Trustee of Mount St. Mary’s University.John is currently chair of the Gateway to Leadership Foundation and a board member of CommonLit, an educational not-for-profit. He is also Chair Emeritus of Teach for America for the greater Philadelphia area.
