Manage a portfolio of multi-discipline projects, update programme using ASTA Power Project and ensure that activity managers have sufficient and capable resources to meet deadlines. Maintain regular liaison with stakeholders and employees on the progress of projects. Forecast and monitor the financial performance of the projects portfolio, providing regular detailed reports, comparing actual and forecast performance to plan expectations and explaining variations. Implement and manage change control and documentation. Coordinate road space booking and traffic management to minimise disruption to network. Plan and programme works activities coordinating with commercial and construction teams. Offer technical guidance on projects during design and construction phases. Review final designs, verify target costs and sub contractor selection. Review and sign off construction phase plans ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.

Manage team of Highway Inspectors to deliver cyclical and planned Highway maintenance programmes. Design and implement resurfacing schemes, reconstruction, micro asphalt and surface dressing programmes. Winter Maintenance Operations, depot supervision, driver & vehicle coordination and duty decision maker.

Inspect and coordinate statutory undertakers works within the Public Highway.Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders for road closures and events.Organisation of regional HUAC coordination meetings between all utilities bus companies, emergency services and other stakeholders.
