Started out working for a Junior College doing IT tech support for the main campus of Butler Community College. Managed several buildings, which consisted of maintaining the PCs, printers, etc.. for the faculty and staff. Then I moved on to do several years of QA work for LSI Logic (later LSI). Started as a part time contractor, and worked my way up to a full time engineer position. My job then consisted of writing and improving automated testing of our enterprise storage products. As well as test writing and automation, I was given opportunities to teach others valuable skills and information about the equipment used in our labs. As of October of 2018 I now triage product defects from external customers, as well as internal test teams.
