While working full time as an Emergency Medical Technician I have been sponsored by the service to complete a Bsc in paramedic science at the University of Cumbria. At the end of the 2 year course I will be able to register as a fully qualified paramedic with the HCPC.

Qualified EMT with London Ambulance after completing my apprenticeship gaining a Distinction in my diploma. Qualified to be an independent clinician on frontline emergency ambulances.

Full-time apprenticeship that will result in me being fully qualified Associate Ambulance Practitioner capable of being an independent clinician utilising blue light driving as appropriate. After first four months of the apprenticeship I will be full time on the roads in an ambulance. The first four months is spent on classroom clinical training and blue light driving training.

Working as a solo medic covering the iconic Shakespeare's Globe and while managing a team of first aiders I provided assistance to a variety of patients often with multiple patients at once giving valuable experience in leading teams, managing and triaging patients and customer service.

After company priorities changed I retrained as a software engineer. After about 4 month doing this work under my previous title I was offered the opportunity to be promoted permanently into the backend engineering team initially focusing on the backend requirements for an upcoming tender.I work on our backend services coding in Typescript, utilising Node and Express JS and python utilising the Fast-API library.I also upkeep the data side of my work and still actively complete ad-hoc data requests whilst maintaining the analytical dashboards for both of our products.

After completing a 3 month internship at Pando I was taken on as a Junior Data Scientist at Pando.Within my first month as a junior, without any prior experience before my internship in data science, I had built a predictive model for a given hospital's intake after a months time based off of their initial usage. I also built a model to do sentiment analysis of the natural language feedback.I also conduct extensive data analysis on user activity within the app and building interactive visualisations using the Google Cloud Platform to analyse and define success metrics of new features as well as track business defined KPI's and answer questions regarding the trends of them and what the causes of the trends are.I learnt that in the start-up world it is important to be agile and flexible, always being open to develop new skills. When asked if I would be interested in gaining new skills as a backend developer for a few months to assist the team, naturally I jumped at it and that is what I am currently working on.
