Robert Bosch is a global company producing products for the Power Tool, Whitegoods, Energy, Telecommunications and Automotive industries. My role has encompassed the Project Management to the International external plants, designing and developing special purpose assembly lines. This role encompasses negotiations, quotations to Management of external plants along with the development of specifications, briefs, cross functional team leadership, developing extensive timing charts to include costs and resources within the project reporting timeline. • Manage Projects for the supply and alteration of Special Purpose Machinery from Concept Development until SOP.• On time delivery of allocated SPM Projects globally.• Oversee SPM projects completion within budget • Regular ongoing International Travel as required for meetings, negotiations and workshops.• Negotiation and preparation of quotations and tenders • Liaise with Customer to ensuring SPM projects meet customer requirements/specifications and are within RB Europe and RBAU standards. • Support the development process of project management with the TEF departments• Provide, maintain, submit and follow up timing plans for allocated projects. • Monitor and manage allocated project costs• Ensure provision and release of equipment in compliance with Customer specifications and to RB and RBAU standards • Provide interface between customer and product design and development in relation to project matters• Facilitate the TEF project team to ensure clear communications processes• Manage project open issues and risk management list to ensure success of the projects.• Regularly report on projects with both TEF team and management with project meetings.• Escalate project issues which cannot be resolved with the project team.• Marketing the RBAU TEF capabilities to Global RB sites.• Business Development for RBAU TEF • Management of key international SPM projects.

ATS was formed to support Ford North America in the production of two new vehicle programs. . ATS’s responsibility to the client was to advise on design, liaise with the Tier suppliers and negotiate tenders with respective Toolroom’s within Australia for the supply of injection tooling. My engagement as General Manager/Program Manager was to set up the practices with total responsibility in engagement of additional staff for the management of these programs.Responsibilities / Achievements :• Report directly to Chief Engineer at Ford Nth America and Purchasing Manager • Management of program development requiring clear communication with Tier 1 Suppliers and Toolmakers.• Involvement with concept to final component design • Advisory of tooling and manufacturing feasibility • Management of two programs – Budget: $76 Million.. • Preparation of Management Reports • Active Involvement in all design team and feasibility meetings. • Knowledge in FMEA, DFMEA’s and QS 9000 environment.• Training of Tier 1 suppliers. • Liaison with Ford Purchasing and Financial departmental heads. • Instrumental in the negotiations between the Tier suppliers/ Toolmaker and Ford HO North America• Development of effectively sound and trusting relationships within Ford and Tier suppliers
