Supervision and co-ordination of all activities within the Surveillance Department control room environment. Ensure all Surveillance personnel conduct their duties in accordance with the West Australian State and Commonwealth Laws, Acts, Regulations and Government Principle Directions as laid down in the Casino Control Act of 1984.Recruitment of Surveillance Department employees from internal and external sources. Supervise and coordinate all matters pertaining to Health and Safety, Industrial Relations within the department.Conduct and coordinate company audits to ensure all relevant rules, Government regulations and procedures are being adhered to by all departments within the Casino.Conduct and coordinate company investigations to ascertain if employees or patrons are perpetrating any illegal activities.Design and implement a departmental roster for 30+employees, assuring the manning levels as laid down in Principal Directions are maintained on a 24 hour, 7 day a week rotating basis.Maintain a cooperative, professional working relationship with all other departments within Crown/Burswood, Casino Control Division, Government Authorities and Law Enforcement Agencies.Observe, record and report all events that have been monitored by the Surveillance Department to ensure that the security and integrity of the Casino is maintained at all times.
