• Maintain, develop and support Shell Canada’s Employee Services System (ESS), Management Access System (MAS), Expense System and internal Job Postings using the LANSA (v11.3) programming language and a DB2 database. All of Shell Canada’s employees use these systems. • Employees use ESS to maintain and view their persona information including pension, benefits, payroll and tax information. MAS is used by managers to maintain and view information on their reports and new hires. Annual bonuses, performance awards, raises/salary progression and stock options are orchestrated through this system. Both ESS and MAS feed to and from the JD Edwards ERP system.• The Expense system allows employees to code their monthly VISA statements and submit cash statements to be approved by their supervisor. The statements are then fed JD Edward's accounting and payroll systems.• The Job Posting system allows employees to maintain their resumes and search and apply for job opportunities within Shell
