Taking a giant leap of faith in myself, I left my role as Vice President of a research and development company to become a host at the Keg restaurant in Whistler.While some people thought I’d lost my mind, I logged over 100 days of skiing a year and was one of the original mountain bike guides on Whistler Mountain. Over the next decade, I would then build Barber Media Inc. into one of the largest publishers of visitor and travel information on Canada’s west coast.► When I launched Apps Canada in 2015, our mission was to do an excellent job for a few, rather than an average job for many. Relationships matter to us.
