Enterprise hardware and network technology consultant for an Army simulation and training contract. Provided low to high level design of a large closed network. The network consisted of dozens of server configurations ranging from application workstations to image generators, network storage, voice over IP, virtualization, and I/O subsystems. Task was to apply current hardware technology to the existing system to reduce HW foot-print, increase performance, and reduce maintenance.

Lead Project/Systems Engineer for the U.S. Army's, PEO STRI Program Office, Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) system Post-production Software Support and Development (PDSS) team. This distributed real-time training system is used to train combat ground troops (infantry and armor) in movement, gunnery, and tactical scenarios. The training system is the largest of it's kind in the Army and includes the latest digital technology used in the field. Wide range of experience starting with CCTT SAF Concurrent Engineering Team (development), Functional Qualification Test (FQT) (SAF requirements verification), Pre-Production Qualification Test (PPQT), PPDS through OneSAF Integration. Primary responsibility was interfacing with the customer (PEO STRI / US Army) and support contractors, overseeing day-to-day PDSS efforts, and overseeing internal and external system integration projects. Responsible for bringing the project to full Information Assurance (IA) and security compliance, DIACAP, FISMA, test and quality assurance, software development, requirements analysis, managing the development environment, and leading approximately 30 software and engineers and support personnel. Oversaw software upgrades, integrations, and compliance tests at dozens of Army and National Guard posts across the US and Europe. Authored CCTT PPQT and OneSAF requirements. Extensive knowledge of SAF behaviors and tactical training requirements. Highly experienced with CCTT Fixed and Mobile training sites and configurations; host build and customization, network deployment, operation of all CCTT manned module trainers including M1A2-SEP, M2A3, BFIST, RVS, FBCB2, CCTT SAF, AAR, MC/MCC, and IGs. Experience with CATT AVCATT and FCS (Future Combat Systems) training systems.
