I am a junior at Michigan Technological University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I am interested in challenges related to robotics, mechatronics, and CAE. During my four years on FIRST robotics team 2851, I learned to program, design, and build robotic systems. I led the programming team my final year, guiding the implementation of autonomy and vision processing. At Michigan Tech, I'm on the Michigan Tech Astrohuskies, a competitor in NASA's Lunabotics challenge. As a part of the mobility and drivetrain team, I work with teammates to design the wheels and drive system with a focus in structural analysis of components. In the professional world, I gained valuable experience and skills in two summer internship for Altair Engineering. I split my time at Altair with a mix of hands-on lab work and CAE engineering challenges. I assisted with machining parts and assembling prototypes for mechatronics projects in the lab. I used multibody dynamics tools including MotionView and Inspire Motion to model mechanisms in automotive, heavy machinery, and aerospace industries.I look forward to applying my skills to new engineering challenges.
