As an instrument technician at Petron Corporation, I am responsible for the calibration and maintenance of various instruments in the laboratory and in the processing of oil and gas products. I have over two years of experience in this role, and I have developed core competencies in instrumentation, calibration, and ISO standards.In my current role, I work with a team of technicians to conduct repair and maintenance on heavy equipment and power tools in the refinery, as well as inspection and calibration for oxygen analyzers for furnaces. I also support the communication and security systems in the refinery, such as telephone, cctv, handheld radio, and FDAS. I am motivated by the challenge and satisfaction of ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the instruments and equipment that are essential for the safe and efficient operation of the refinery.
