I was involved with designing, producing or supporting of Records Management software with features for Retention Management, Electronic Records Management, Physical Records Management, Commonwealth Records Management, Virtual Records Management and enterprise scale Records Management.The product suite was rewritten to be completely embedded and hosted in the EMC Documentum platform with no standalone components remaining.I was involved both directly and in leading ongoing efforts to improve the product based upon internally sponsored work and customer reported issues.I was involved both hands on and with oversight of ongoing efforts to improve team efficiency by introducing automation in the form of utilities and scripts for development, build and QA tasks.EMC Documentum Records 6.7SP2 (The most recent release)• 14 month duration, released on March 1, 2013• 9 developers, 5 QA, 2 team leads, 1 director, 1 tech pubs resources• Agile development process methodology followed• Integrations added to the Records Manager suite to IRM (Information Rights Management) and CIS (Content Intelligence Services) to form a cohesive governance solution.• Scalability framework implemented to increase processing throughput by a factor of 100 for critical operations.• I was stream lead for designing and implementing the scalability framework integration for the policy application and removal processes across the product suite.• I was also heavily involved with designing, reviewing and implementing portions of the scalability framework itself including fault recovery, artifact destruction, and performance improvements.
