I have nearly 8yrs of pharmaceutical/medical device/DME sales, plus 2yrs of B2B Technology Sales experience often having to do product demonstrations along with customer training. I've called on a wide variety of Specialists from Orthopedic, Pain Management, OB/Gyn, Podiatry, Neurology, GI, Psychiatrist, and all types of Primary Care including Pediatrics, plus Long-term Care Facilities (Nursing Homes, Hospice, Home Health etc). One of the main attributes I've learned is what it takes to Launch New Products both in Medical/Pharma and in Business. Throughout my career, I have launched and developed new business with at least 6 to 8 Brand New, Brand Name FDA Approved products, worked on Managed Care/Formulary coverage with each new product while in both Small & Large Pharma & Device/DME Industries with High Ranking Sales. I have also worked closely with Pharmacies throughout my career. During this time, I have gained a great knowledge of the Medical Industry, developed long lasting relationships with Physicians, Nurses and their entire staffs, and managed very large territories with each company. I now have extensive pharmacology training on a number of different medications and how to Market Brand Name Products to HCP's and Pharmacies. Both in Medical Sales and in the B2B Technology Equipment sales market, I became a hunter and closer. I've gained keen cold calling and prospecting abilities for new business development. I plan to further my career with opportunities for more leadership roles, as I have some experience in that area as well, often helping to train or place new reps in their territory after their initial training had ended.
