CurrentMaintain a cluster of 12-20 Windows based servers, varying in product levels, from Windows Server 2003, all the way to Windows Server 2012 R2. Active Directory integration with DFS-R (Distributed File System) was a key element in reducing single point of failures, reducing downtime from 10% to less than 1%. Also, replacing outdated cisco equipment with industry standard switches, integrating a ''single pane of glass' for our System Security to identify a machine on the network that may be infectious within seconds via email/SMS. Currently working on converting our Minimum Function Level of Windows Server from 2003 to 2008 or higher to use some of the newest functions of Server 2012 and above for possible cloud integration.
