Each day, I wake up energized to measure our business growth momentum, gain new insights on consumer behavior, and problem-solve with my team. Owning my work and the endless opportunity to break new ground is very important, as I find it promotes a challenger brand mindset.I have enjoyed building new capabilities and teams for over 20 years, where I innovatively solve problems for new marketing opportunities. People want to be listened to, and because of that, I invest my time in learning how others do their jobs. It helps me remove barriers to their career success and so they can exceed their work objectives.The best advice I’ve ever received from a CEO: “There’s probably someone else in the company who has the same problem you do. Go find them and combine resources to find an answer.” When I see resources and minds combined, I love to celebrate the great work that comes from that combination. I am the go-to person on my team for visionary and critical thinking with data-validated results. I use those factors to create compelling storytelling and a charismatic zeal for our work at PosiGen.When I’m not at work, you can find me listening to a range of different music genres, where I draw inspiration from all artists and their ability to tell incredible stories in only a couple of minutes. I have 13 nieces and nephews who teach me a great deal about authenticity, and I study Buddhism, which inspires me to take a gentle and peaceful approach to all that I do. These activities keep me fulfilled outside of work and give me a fresh perspective in my career. I accidentally fell into marketing, and with it came an obsession for driving brand strategies, profitable partnerships, digital media measurement, consumer insights, and product innovation to drive growth with immediate impact.Recently, I switched from marketing consumer packaged goods to a more mission-driven corner of marketing: renewable energy and financial independence for underserved communities. My commitment to giving back can be credited to the communities who have given me so much support over the years. I am proud to sit on the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana board. We take action around wetlands restoration, seafood sustainability, and promoting the cultural heritage of New Orleans.Today and every day, I hope you are driven to engage deeply in what you care about and want to be a part of for yourself.
