I worked as a field ranger/ student at False Bay Natures.As a driven individual who wants to progress, I am now looking to work in an energetic and natural environment where I can use all the skills and knowledge of our Cape Coastal area and the challenges that we have on this on the beaches and community awareness of the environment and education. My time on the Reserve has equipped me with a multitude of skills, including: Identifying and the removal alien invasive species. Reporting defects of fences, trespassers on the reserve and hippo tracks to my supervisor. Constructing /erecting infrastructures and maintaining bird hides, fences and buildings. I only had a crash course of veld fires and only been at a controlled fire.I can easily work with others and alone in a professional manner while attempting to achieve a common goal and would like to highlight my key strengths in areas such as people’s person. One of my strongest points is my self-motivation which allows me to perform well under pressure and my weakness is, waking up early but I make sure that I am always on time for and call in if the problems with transport.
