Planner-Scheduler on CPChem Projects

I am the scheduler for Small Capital Projects and Shutdowns.. I also work with the DOW Schedulers to integrate the JV Schedule with the DOW Schedule.I walk jobs down for planning and I also walk progress down for reporting.I report to the Job Rep. the Daily or Weekly progress at the Update Meetings. I compare progress to the Planned S-Curve and if needed help provide options on a Recovery Plan and help Forecast the new Finish Date.I build a schedule from bid packages and walk the job down with the execution folks to get their buy in and adjust the schedule accordingly.I build an S-Curve based on the estimate budget and update daily or weekly based on what the customer requests. We use the schedule to report to the client the earned value to justify our billing.We also use the S-Curve to keep track of our Productivity.I also train schedulers on the process we use.

I was a Scheduler for Outages and Maintenance Project Estimator, Planner and work Coordinator.I was instrumental in the starting of the Firewater Crew that would repair and maintain the Fire protection system for the CITGO Plant in Corpus Christi. I Planned the jobs, ordered the materials, helped with forecasted budget for the year. I was involved in helping standardize the inspection processes so they would be the same site wide on the Closure welds and permitting for the Firewater Permits to minimize the down time for the fire protection for the affected plant.
