Having spent nearly a decade of my career in the hospitality industry I decided to make a change and switched to the I.T space. Without any prior experience within the field or education in that respect I learnt from the ground up. I adapted and never shied away from a task that was out of my knowledge set. This hands on approach coupled with the skills learnt in hospitality trade have resulted in me growing at an exponential rate from a junior support desk technician to being entrusted with the running of a branch in another city by myself.I think down the line and consider the broader implications when working on a task. Taking into account all the components involved and the bigger picture at hand.I have extremely strong people skills and consider efficient planning to be an essential aspect of any task. I work well in a collaborative setting or in isolation.I am technically astute and methodical in my troubleshooting.I am at home in a high pressure environment and skilled at setting apart the noise from the task at hand.I am ever curious and apt at jumping into the deep end of an issue.
