BIO:John Davis-Piotrowski (he/him) is a Queer; Anti-Racist; Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Practitioner with a passion for people. Currently John is using his passion and experience in people and DEI as the Manager of Culture & Belonging at Community Financial Credit Union. John has spent the last 10 years in financial institutions starting as a call center agent focusing on customer experience and working his way up through various leader positions. Prior to Community Financial, John was a founding fellow for CEO Action for Racial Equity, partnering with organizations all over the country on racial equity policy at the local, state, and federal level. John is new to the credit union industry but is making up for lost time connecting with credit union groups like CU Pride and Humanidei to focus on building a diverse, equitable credit union community that everyone can feel like they belong to. John is also a passionate Detroiter. In his personal time, he likes to spend time enjoying the city with his husband Nick and and their friends and connecting with diverse communities.
