A solid strategy is only one piece of the puzzle. You must not only be able to plan for the future of an organization, but also be adept at gaining the buy-in of your team and implementing the framework of that vision. This is why one of my favorite quotes from Morris Chang is “Without strategy, execution is aimless. Without execution, strategy is useless.” As an operations leader, I excel at assessing business operations, identifying the inefficiencies or improvement opportunities, creating and executing a plan and reviewing the results to determine where we need to refine our strategy. This process has served me throughout my career as I have helped launch brand new start-up organizations, expand existing corporations into the Japan business market and exponentially grow revenues in these new markets. I have lived and worked in Japan for more than 15 years. Originally, I traveled to Japan after college to work for a year while gaining cultural diversity in my work experience. I planned to return to the U.S. to continue my education and pursue a law degree. However, I met an exceptional business mentor in Japan who helped me refine my leadership style and taught me the details of Japanese work culture. Right from the start of my career in Japan, I found that my leadership style and philosophy fit perfectly into the Japanese business model. I have become an expert at helping businesses modify their culture and processes to effectively tap into this lucrative business climate. My analytical approach to problem solving balances well with my ability to build relationships and gain team buy-in to new processes and philosophies. My key area of strength include:- Strategic Marketing Plan Development- P&L Management- Cross Functional Team Building and Team Leadership- Sales Operations Management (Demand and Marketing Aspects)- Strategic Account Management- Internal and External Customer Relationship Development- Sales Skill Mentoring
