Over the last decade John De Clercq has built a career amongst world best leading Interior Designers. A background in Art History, love for architecture and design, and a meticulous eye for detail made John a natural fit for the world of interiors. After attending New York School of Interior Design, John developed his own refined aesthetic working for some of America’s most prestigious studios. In 1988 he founded his studio to share his own vision with our clients; focusing on purity of materials, understated luxury and custom design details. This has allowed John to work on a wide range of projects anywhere from Grade II listed country estates to modern penthouse apartments in One Hyde Park.John’s use of fabrics, textures, and colors are reflective of each property’s architecture and often draw upon John’s love for natural materials and his desire to create a feeling of comfort, warmth, and sophistication when his clients enter their home. John believes interior design should complement and enhance the way clients live in their home.A love of travel has also allowed John to discover and experiment with different design traditions from around the world to create an aesthetic that is reflective of each client’s lifestyle.
