Performed maintenance tasks in accordance with all required standards assigned by the Director of Maintenance.Oversees that work performed are in compliance with the policies, maintenance manual standards practices, CAAP rules and regulations, SB’s and AD’s.Oversees how to enhance the work of a mechanic in order to improve one’s function and duties.Must consult higher key personnel in order to improve one’s function and duties.Ensures that all maintenance work requirements are carried out on time.Rectifies defects carried out in the logbook as reported by the pilots; defers the actions in accordance to the aircraft procedures and restrictions.Performs functional tests and other checks that will ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness as specified in aircraft maintenance manual.Function as a support to the Director of Maintenance in the fulfillment of the required duties and responsibilities stated in Maintenance Organization Procedure Manual.Authorized to act as the Director of Maintenance if ever and whenever the Director of Maintenance is not available to perform the tasks required.

Perform FOD checks before and after arrival of the aircraft to make sure the aircraft is free from debris that can cause damage.
