I started with SC Data Center, Inc. as a Programmer Analyst for the Manufacturing side of the company with knowledge of COBOL, CICS, JCL, and some small VB projects. I also help manage a Analytical Database built on Oracle to help our purchasers. I changed over to the Open Systems area in April of 2004 to take a position as a Network Analyst/System Administrator where I maintain, upgrade, and install Windows 2008 and 2012 Servers with some small tasks on Linux servers. I also maintain connectivity with our 3270 temrinal emulation software to our IBM Mainframe. We are currently utilitizing VMWare on 22 ESX servers running just over 600 virtual servers that 8 others along with myself to manage them. I am the NetBackup Administrator for corporate where we implemented VCB backups for our VMWare farm. We are currently using NetBackup and just upgraded to version 8.0.0. with 1 Master server and 7 Media servers. We also implemented a new NetApp AltaVault system in 2016. Currently working with AWS (Amazon Web Services) to move towards the cloud.

Medical Scheduling Application ProgrammerI worked in a department called Funded Development. This department took the base application the main developers created and added specific functionality to the programs that the clients desired. We then had to maintain these clients with product roll-ups as the client upgraded to newer versions. Here we used COBOL, JCL, Assembler, and a program called JYACC to develope GUI front-ends to the COBOL programs on the UNIX platform.I helped change roughly 3700 programs to implement the needed Y2K changes with a group of 5 other programmers in just 6 months. After this was completed, I changed positions to Report Writer Developer to tie the Congnos Reporting software into the systems databases for the clients. I also went on site to some clients hospitals to implement the changes I made.
