Dr. Dearborn is the successful pioneer of specialty joint replacement programs on the West Coast. His Institute is committed to delivering the highest quality joint replacement care with the lowest risk of complications.In order to accomplish these goals, we limit our focus to the surgical treatment of hip and knee arthritis, in order to offer the highest level of care possible. In addition to total hip, total knee and partial knee replacement surgery, we also perform more complex revision procedures. We value strong teamwork and have been blessed with a talented and caring group of physician assistants, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and discharge planners to anticipate and meet the needs of our patients. With the help of our team, we perform over 900 joint replacement procedures annually. Our extensive clinic research program investigates the latest technology in less invasive surgical techniques, implant fixation options, alternative bearing surfaces to make joint replacement implants last longer, and implant designs which preserve bone and accommodate the anatomical differences between men and women. We continue to monitor the function of thousands of implants, in order to identify the best materials, designs and techniques.
