Set up GPS/UTS for all capable excavators/bulldozers to use machine control every morning and provide technical support when neededsetting/traversing new control and re-establishig existing control pointsasbuilting and 3d scanning for design work, as well as asbuilting dirt/rock piles for quantities, and any and Everything installed in/on the groundGrading track bed, parking lots, roads, sidewalks, foundations for buildings, bridges, culverts and train platforms as well as drainage like slopes and ditchestraining and providing technical support for foreman to use gps rovers for higher tolerance tasks(dirt work mainly)providing layout via gps and total station for our crews and subcontractors for everything from ponds and drainage, sewer and electrical lines and structures, environmental, tree work, dirt work, concrete, paving, culverts, various types of walls, track bed and rail alignments, as well as property lines translating the plans from paper/computer to the field, meeting with our foreman and subs when needed to make sure they understand the work to be done and have everything they need to do so, as well as monitoring progress making sure i stay ahead of the groups working with layout, as well as going back and checking work we finished to make sure everything is correct.some basic CAD knowledge, scaling plans and looking for errors before laying things out in the field, working with engineers to fix design errors or "make things work" in the field that conflict when translated from the plans to actual field workkeeping records of everything i check or layout for job records, as well as completing all daily/weekly reports on timeSafe and responsible employee who has won awards for safe work practices, as well as hard work ethic. valid and current osha 30, rwp, keolis and amtrak contractor training completed
