As Regional CIO and member of the AIT Senior Leadership team, I am the regional executive accountable for all IT related clinical and technology activities in the Southwest Region. In addition, I also have responsibility to provide adequate resources to insure on-time and on budget IT Service Delivery.

As a Healthcare Strategist, I utilize my industry knowledge and experience to work with our customers executive teams, along with VMware’s internal product management and partner organizations, to ensure that VMware solutions are addressing industry problems and improving healthcare outcomes. The goal is to enable our customers to focus on their mission of providing care to patients rather than worry about IT.

Responsible for establishing the enterprise Information Security strategy and program to ensure the healthcare systems critical information resources are protected.• Worked in a strategic capacity to build and enhance the Information Security program.• Focused on program assessments and maturity, staffing, regulatory adherence, and technology.• Provided oversight and delivery of all security services, including risk assessments, penetration testing, security awareness programs, mitigation strategies, and risk governance.• Engaged in managing risk management frameworks and compliance regulations, including NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS, HIPAA and HITRUST.

Overall responsibility for the IT strategy and operations of a $1.8B healthcare integrated delivery network with 9 hospitals, 164 physician clinics, supporting 10,000 employees statewide. Directed business and technology vision and leadership in the selection, implementation and support of organization-wide information services. Provided oversight, approval, implementation, coordination and control of all projects related to the acquisition, installation and maintenance of major information systems for INTEGRIS Health. Conducted planning processes that regularly evaluate new and existing technology and information systems; develop and enforce policy and procedures to ensure the protection of INTEGRIS Health’s IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of the information entrusted to or maintained by INTEGRIS Health.
