Supported several business development efforts. Responsibilities included generating spacecraft mass, power, propellant, and reliability budgets, analyzing sensor coverage for orbit trades, and analyzing access times for ground segment trades. Further responsibilities included answering questions from potential customers regarding spacecraft bus capabilities, and improving internal systems engineering tools by developing and integrating component databases.

Led system-wide stress analysis of a fixture design for testing hydraulic actuators. The analysis resulted in bolt, material, and weld changes in order to meet a positive safety factor. Other duties included reviewing actuator drawing changes and manufacturing deviations for stress impacts.

Worked on tasks related to research in positron storage for future space propulsion systems. Helped setup and test a vacuum system for charged particle transport, and gained exposure to clean room operations such as reactive-ion etching.
