I’m on a mission to serve as a connector in my community, nurturing abundant ideas across an ecosystem of diverse people and organizations. I believe that strong, holistic relationships and collaboration are critical to mission driven work. How we do the work is just as important as what we are doing! In my current role as the Program Associate for Sector Effectiveness and Special Initiatives at the Barr Foundation, I combine my affinity for interconnectedness and process to weave a net of support that allows strategic and creative thinking to come to the forefront. On any given day, I’m a project manager, grant writer, or strategist—but I’m always working to generate impactful, innovative, and equitable solutions in partnership with my colleagues and external stakeholders.I am driven by building connections and infrastructure that create synergy and movement towards a common goal. I approach all that I do with compassion and integrity. I thrive when I am able to meld together strategic thinking and nimbleness in order to stay responsive to the needs of my community. Outside of work, I love to garden! Working to cultivate a healthy, living environment requires love and care to tend to the needs of each individual plant while also considering the balance of the entire ecosystem. That requires getting dirty and digging in, which is where I am most energized!
