John has more than 20+ years of reporting, assurance, compliance, and risk management experience serving large multinational organizations. He works with companies across all industries, including; technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, apparel and footwear, and banking.John served as Ernst & Young, LLPs sustainability Practice Leader for Non-financial Reporting Advisory and Assurance Services. He was also the Practice Leader for the Western US region. John is a CPA and has experience leading engagements and working with those responsible for financial and non-financial reporting including; operations, compliance, sustainability, general counsel, investor relations, supply chain, internal audit, and their operating teams to develop leading edge sustainability programs and reporting processes. John is also experienced in leading innovative teams tasked with the identification, development, coordination, roll-out and scaling of new and emerging service offerings at a global level. He has also worked as a member of a team which specialized in the integration of structured and unstructured third-party data into business workflow applications and tools, which include business intelligence targeting and risk profiling.John is comfortable in leading large global teams to accomplish strategic objectives.John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Assurance Services Executive Committee Sustainability Task Force and the AICPA Accounting Standards Board Sustainability Task Force. He is also a member of Society for Corporate Governance’s Environmental and Social Working Group.John has served as a member of the University of Colorado’s Denver Business School Managing for Sustainability Advisory Council.He was also a representative to the Sustainability Outlook Program, a joint project with the Institute for the Future.
