Having spent most of my career working as an operator within the Hospitality and Retail sector where I developed a flexible, practical and commercial approach to people matters, ensuring that HR and business objectives and key performance indicators are supported and achieved in the best commercial way. My previous roles have given me experience of devising and implementing coherent HR Strategies and practices, ensuring that all HR processes, policies and procedures are legally compliant. I have experience of working with people at all levels of the business to make sure all are trained, engaged and motivated to deliver the HR and business objectives. Worked and negotiated with union representatives across multiple brands, business cultures and covering large geographical areas. Key areas included policy and procedure implementation and development, re-organisation and restructures (including TUPE and redundancy), grievances, capability, absence management and disciplinaries.
