Project Management role serving as support for the Chief Technical Officer of the JPM Medical Office. Primary responsibilities are the development of all technical and operational documents and standards of operation moving into the launch of a new centralized procurement model for medical supplies. Daily working multiple contracting document development with strategic positioning for launch of the multi-million dollar effort funded over the next 5 fiscal years with a novel approach to maximizing dollars and transitioning into a self-sustaining business model to secure supply-threatened resources in advance of need.

Perform market research of products, management of inventory related tracking, evaluating cost tradeoffs, leading working groups with requirements holders, and coordinating acquisition efforts when applicable.

Assist with project management of industrial based expansion efforts for future pandemic preparedness areas. Support the client with schedule and project tracking, adherence to project milestones and deliverables, and communicating risks of schedule slippage, projected timelines, and providing critical communications for responses and decisions of core leadership.

Fielding Coordinator tasked with assisting in successful support of the Federal Response Framework and facilitating supply needs and coordination of distributing public health medical countermeasures. Work as a POC for regional stakeholders to support assigned regions with problem solving, data collection, tasking, and dissemination of guidance.

Infrastructure Analyst tasked with defining what infrastructure is across multiple components of a cross-functional organization, researching these components and their contributions to the client's infrastructure platform, identifying gaps in funding, communications, and collaboration through weekly evaluation and problem solving. Tasked with identifying tools for future management of these components to streamline ideation to delivery of services with the client.

Food Microbiology Laboratory. ISO 17025, A2LA Accredited food testing laboratory for routine and investigative foodborne illness outbreak sampling for the state of Virginia. Work in hand with FERN, LRN, and other Federal food response networks for the surveillance of foods for potential biological threats such as Abrin or Bacillus anthracis.AOAC and FDA BAM driven methods with high quality laboratory testing and technologically driven testing methods with continued matrix extensions to better expand testing capabilities.Experience working with Bruker MALDI-TOF Biotyper, bioMerieux VIDAS platform, ABI 7500 Fast PCR platform and the Perkin Elmer Chemagic automated extraction machine.Work as a volunteer in multiple capacities for SARS-CoV-2 testing in the laboratory, which spans throughout disciplines.

As a Manager, I assist the plant with communication in capabilities to project managers and project teams, and serve as a liaison to RD team members throughout the company and the plant.

Investigating the microbial quality of leafy green vegetables and herbs purchased in North Carolina and Southwest Virginia farmers' markets. This includes looking for 3 major pathogens known to be associated with foodborne outbreaks in the past. Additionally, work will be done with extension agents to assist in presentations and trainings related to direct to market producers that sell fresh produce in farmers' markets.

Interning at the Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services in Richmond, VA. This facility serves as the state-wide testing facility for a variety of consumers, including the Virginia Department of Agriculture, the FDA, and the Commonwealth patrons. Routine and surveillance testing is performed on samples including food, water, fertilizers, and feed. Additionally, multiple entities provide responsive lab testing for foodborne outbreaks, bioterrorism response, as well as surge capabilities for other labs. This summer I am working on a validation development and implementation for the detection of E. coli O157:H7 and Non-O157 STEC in three different matrices using a real-time multiplex PCR assay.
